We are pleased to announce that Rare Cask Holdings, a wholly-owned subsidiary of PrimePartners Corporate Finance Holdings, commences trading on Hg Exchange (HGX) today as Southeast Asia’s first digital asset-backed security (ABS) linked to exclusive casks of single-malt Scotch Whisky from world-renowned distilleries such as Talisker, Port Ellen and others.The security tokens will enable Accredited Investors to own a portion of the underlying whisky casks until their maturity and bottling. The security tokens can be traded on HGX, a private member-driven exchange for shares in high-growth private companies and digital securities, through HGX member firms. Upon a cask reaching maturity and the term of its ABS ending, investors may opt to receive the cash value from the disposal of one bottle, or physical delivery of one bottle of whisky from the underlying whisky cask for each ABS owned.
This represents a unique opportunity for Accredited Investors to participate in a growing class of alternative assets, and we look forward to bringing other innovative companies and assets to HGX in the future!
