Investment Criteria

Delta Asia Capital is interested in investment opportunities that meet the following basic criteria: 

Size:  We look for businesses with a profit base of between US$5 million and US$20 million.  Our typical equity investments are in the region of US$10-30 million, though we can make larger investments in conjunction with specific institutional co-investors.

Style of investing: While we are flexible in terms of instruments, we are equity investors by orientation, focused on growth in the equity value of the company over a three to five year time-frame.  Our investments range from significant minority positions to control buyouts.  

Industries: We are particularly focused on consumer and consumer-related (branded FMCG, F&B, retail) and B2B service business (logistics, outsourcing, others).  We will selectively look at manufacturing, technology and healthcare investments.

Geographies: Our focus is on businesses that are based in South East Asia - Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesia. We will selectively consider 'non-core' geographies including Vietnam, Australia and New Zealand where investee companies have strong business linkages to South East Asia.
